Ahmadinejad advises the West to stop supporting Israel

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad advised the West in a speech on Thursday to reform its ways and withdraw its support of Israel or “divine tradition will join your fate with those of criminals, pharaohs, Nimrods and the murderers of history.”

“Wherever there are criminals, they enjoy the support of the West,” Ahmadinejad contended. “Wherever there are drugs, terrorism, murder, sanctions, warfare, corruption and propaganda against the people, you (the West) are present.”

Ahmadinejad who was speaking at the opening of Dam 4 on Karoon River in south if Iran declared: "Let me tell you, the time when they could hurt the Iranian nation is over. The Iranian nation is at such a height that their evil hands can't touch us anymore."

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad went on to condemn supporters of Israel as a “bunch of Zionists” intent on “violence.”

Addressing the West he added: “We have lowered our expectations from you. We do not want you to confront these crimes which should be confronted as an obvious human responsibility. We are telling you to at least keep your silence and withdraw your support of Zionists.”

He went on to say that: “Some of you are indebted to them. Your money and your media is in their hands. They feed your political organizations. But once and for all try to save yourselves from their clutches.”

He added: “We are not asking you to take a stance against them. Because you cannot and in the entire Western world, there is not one political figure that can stand up to the corrupted Zionists.”

In recent weeks, US-Israel relations experienced tensions over Israel’s decision to continue its settlements in Eastern Jerusalem.

Israel’s announcement that it will continue with construction of 1600 apartment buildings in the Jewish settlements of this area has been condemned by several countries including the US, Russia and the European Union.
